Kent Mouldings specialises in restoring and matching existing plaster mouldings, for example replacing sections of damaged cornice. How it is done: When matching an existing cornice we will take a profile of the original moulding and use this to make a 'running mould'. This is then used to run a plaster mould from which plaster casts are made. Where more ornate mouldings are required a silicon rubber is employed. All this is done by hand using traditional methods and materials, and of course using the knowledge, know-how and experience it takes to master this specialised field.
